Business Development Manager (BDM)       North West   c£20k + Comm

An experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) who can build a network of professional introducers to provide a profitable stream of insolvency cases to our Lancashire based Independent Insolvency Practice is sought. (Please note - we have two similar clients who are recruiting BDMs in this area)

Our client is an expanding practice committed to assisting individuals, sole traders / partnerships and the directors of limited companies to cope with the stresses caused by financial difficulties. As recent news reports confirm, insolvency, both corporate and personal, is a growing problem. Our client is committed to helping clients to overcome the problems of the past, regain control and secure the future.  They deal in both corporate and personal insolvency and rely on work being referred through a growing network of professionals to grow the business.

Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced business development manager (BDM) to help our clients grow further in their market place in north Lancashire.

The BDM will be required to:

  • Establish a network of accountants, solicitors, bankers and other financial professionals who are able to introduce insolvent clients
  • Network and market, building the firm’s reputation locally and regionally
  • Introduce insolvency cases to the firm

Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of introducing profitable new business to previous employers in a professional or financial environment.

This role is a business to business position so applicants must have previous B2B experience.

Previous experience of working in an insolvency enviroment is not essential but preference will be given to applications from BDM’s with experience of winning business in a professional environment.

Salary 

A competitive salary is negotiable for this role £20,000-25,000 pa + negotiable commission - subject to experience and qualifications
