Insolvency Practitioner | Launch New UK Insolvency Practice             

North of England         

£100k+ Plus Generous Profit Share

This is a great and extremely rare opportunity for an experienced, appointment taking Insolvency Practitioner, to set up and establish the first office of a new National Corporate Recovery and Insolvency practice.  The first office is to be based in the North of England, either in Manchester or Leeds, to suit the IP.   Our client would also consider an acquistition of an established practice.

Our Client

Our client is an established Corporate Recovery and Insolvency practice based in Dublin, that has ambitions to replicate their offering to the SME marketplace across the UK, opening offices in London, Edinburgh, Birmingham and the North of England and the first is to be set up either in Manchester or Leeds.  Funding for this initiative is in place and the new practice is to be rolled out over the next 36 - 48 months to service the UK.

Role

The role is likely to suit an established IP who has a track record of both running a corporate insolvency office and attracting work referrals, which are  likely to be mainly from accountants, solicitors and ABLs rather than high street banks.  The successful candidate is unlikely to be from the Big 4, but more likely to have a background of an independent or Top 10 firm.

As well as establishing the office, you will recruit your team, manage them and develop the business.  Whilst specific targets will be agreed with the successful candidate, fees of c£150,000 will be expected in year 1, growing thereafter.

If you successfully establish the North of England office, you may be asked to assist setting up other offices and ensuring consistency within the brand, management and systems.
You may also get involved in a range of business solutions for clients, including raising finance and commercial litigation.

Experience and Qualifications
JIEB Qualified - Essential
ACA/ACCA - Preferred
Proven track record or winning business in the North of England
10+ years Corporate Insolvency Experience

Good knowledge of all types of both corporate and personal insolvency 

Excellent team manager 

Salary 

Salary is totally negotiable for the right candidate, but as a guide, the salary package is likely to be in excess of £100.000+ pa , together with a generous local and national profit share, subject to experience and skills that the candidate is able to bring to the role.
