Insolvency Manager / Senior Manager

Our clients is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and ambitious Insolvency Manager or Senior Manager or Assistant Manager to run a busy friendly office. The role might also suit an ambitious Senior Insolvency Administrator. This is a really exciting opportunity with great prospects as our client really wants to invest in the individual who is looking to take on this role.


The Client

An independent specialist in the field of insolvency established in the early 80’ they offer sound, practical advice and solutions whilst always ensuring the delivering of a high-quality and efficient service to their clients. They operate from several offices in the Midlands and in the South of England and have grown from strength to strength thanks in part to its sound principles.

The Role

The Insolvency Manager will act as the No. 2 within the office, working alongside the Insolvency Practitioner. The successful candidate will head up the back office of the insolvency office and ideally be JIEB qualified/ part qualified, although this is not essential as our client will support JIEB training to enable the individual to become qualified.

The Manager will manage and develop staff, lead all cases the majority of which are corporate, but there will be some personal. Be an all-rounder who ideally is willing to market and develop new business in due course, with the assistance and guidance from the IP. The career potential is clear and would be best suited to an ambitious insolvency professional looking to go all the way in his or her career.

Corporate casework will include

  • Creditors' Voluntary Liquidation (CVL)
  • Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA)
  • Administrations
  • Administrative Receivership
  • Compulsory Liquidation (WUC)

Personal casework will include

  • Bankruptcy
  • Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA)
  • Debt Relief Order (DRO)
  • Partnership Voluntary Arrangement (PVA)
  • Partnership Administration Order

Our client also offers restructuring advice to companies

Requirements & Experience

  • Ideally have a min of 3 years’ experience covering all aspects of Corporate Insolvenc
  • Have knowledge of insolvency legislation and general awareness of other formal insolvency procedures
  •  Be level-headed and able to work in a pressured environment
  •  Understand and manage risk within potential and current cases
  •  Maintains & promote high professional standards of conduct
  •  Positive approach to problem solving
  •  Excellent communication skills
  • Awareness of confidentiality and business sensitive matters
