Geoff Gee - Director 

Geoff qualified as a Chartered Accountant and has over 40 years experience in the business recovery profession.  He was a Fellow of the Assocation of Business Recovery Professionals and continues as an Associate member. Geoff started in the profession in 1981 with Armitage & Co in Leeds before joining Grant Thornton in Yorkshire.  He was appointed a partner in 1990, headed up the Yorkshire region in 1992 before being appointed national head of the firms non-bank services.  

He joined Yorkshire and North Derbyshire chartered accountants BHP as a partner to head up and develop the business recovery service and help grow the practice generally in 1998.  Six years later, Geoff temporarily left the profession to fulfill a long term ambition to change career and set up his own gardening business.  Geoff set up a consultancy business in 2006 which has brought him back into the profession again, which in 2008 led to the formation of GGT Insolvency Recruitment which now also includes GGT IP Solutions.  Geoff sold his gardening business in 2015 and now concentrates on his directorship at GGT Insolvency Recruitment and Insolvency.Careers which he set up to give a better understanding of what life within the insolvency profession is really like!

Through his previous role as an IP and his involvement with businesses that provide services to the insolvency profession, Geoff really does have a unique insight into insolvency!

Sheona Gee - Director 

Before joining the recruitment profession, Sheona started her career as an accountant working in manufacturing, retail and the service sectors for over 20 years.  Qualified by experience, she has a wealth of experience not simply in accounting, but also reviewing and implementing new systems, undertaking project assignments and mergers. She has experience of Groups of companies in both the UK and overseas. 

In 2013 Sheona took a brave leap from her estabished career to set up and run her own recruitment business and in 2017 joined GGT Insolvency Recruitment to work alongside Geoff.
Sheona now spends all her time recruiting insolvency professionals for GGT Insolvency Recruitment.  Initially she took responsibility for placing insolvency administrators and senior insolvency administrators, but now Sheona gets actively involved at all levels across the business.
