We are currently working with an independent insolvency firm based in the North-East who is looking to recruit an experienced full-time Insolvency Assistant Manager or Insolvency Manager with ideally 4 year's experience of working within Corporate Insolvency.


Our client can offer a permanent full-time office based working contract or flexible working from home and the office.


The Role

This is a full-time opportunity and is ideal for an Assistant Manager CPI qualified looking to develop and further their career with a desire to gain their JIEB qualification.

Our client is looking to find an individual who has experience in managing/leading a team of Case Managers and Administrators and has experience of planning, reviewing the completion of insolvency cases.

Key requirements

  • Experienced in managing own casework from inception to closure
  • Strong report writing skills
  • First class communication skills and ability to communicate across all levels
  • Ability to motivate and develop your team and mentor junior staff
  • You will need to be a team player, but also self-motivated, ability to work on own initiative
  • CPI qualified and have a desire to develop further.
  • Ability to cope under stress and work to tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities will include.

  • Maintain a portfolio of insolvency cases and ensure cases are efficiently and pro-actively progressed.
  • Ensure staff are briefed and motivated in order to complete cases efficiently.
  • Review files and ensure fully compliant with Insolvency regulations and relevant standards.
  • Review and supervise staff work and provide training to staff when required.
  • Identify opportunities where we may be able to provide further services.
  • Attend marketing events where appropriate.
  • Review statutory documents for compliance with Insolvency regulations and relevant standards.
  • Assist partners/directors to manage WIP and debtors on a client by client basis.
