New office - Suit retiring IP/Enthusiastic IP

A Work winning Insolvency Practitioner is required to establish a base north of the M25 covering the Cambridge, Northampton and Bedford area by our South coast based client.  (Our client is flexible as regards the eventual location)  The intention is to eventually open an new office but in the interim casework will be undertaken at our clients main office. Applicants must have a network of work referrers and be able to demonstrate that you can bring in fee income sufficient to cover your own costs initially, be able to grow income and be strongly motivated by business development.

The role may be well suited to an IP retiring early from a large firm or an enthusiastic young IP who is building a network of work providing contacts.

Our client is an established corporate recovery practice based on the south coast with two appointment takers,  Our client prides itself in providing practical solutions to companies in distress. 

Role

Applications are invited from JIEB qualified Insolvency Practitioners who have the character, experience and following in the accountancy,and legal community to develop a new office.

You will be required to take insolvency appointments but your main role will be to develop the office and practice by securing insolvency appointments in the new office location.

The successful candidate is likely to be established within the insolvency world locally either as an IP or senior manager.  You must have a following of work referrers who can be relied on to provide a flow of insolvency cases.  Our client will offer full support in getting the office established.

Applications are invited from any IP who meets this criteria including appointment taking IP’s who may have been forced to take early retirement from a larger firm but who wishes to continue within the insolvency profession.

Initially cases will be managed at head office but our client expects that in due course cases will be managed locally.   You will be required to attend head office one day per week for meetings.  

The role provides an excellent opportunity for a commercial, business developing IP to establish an insolvency practice supported by an established and forward thinking practice.
