Birmingham    c£75k + Negotiable Bonus/Profit Share/Incentive

Our client is looking to recruit an Insolvency Practitioner to assist opening a new insolvency office in North Birmingham.  Whilst the role is likely to suit a first time appointment taker, our client is also be happy to consider applications from established IPs. 

Our Client

Our client is a recently formed business advisory and insolvency practice that seeks to establish a prescence in the West Midlands. The business is being set up by established insolvency work winners who generate upwards of £750k of corporate insolvency assignments each year.  These cases are secured from winding up petitions, accountants, lenders and website traffic and comprise mainly CVLs and Administrations

The Role 

  • Take responsibilty for new corporate insolvency assignments - mainly CVLs and Administrations but will include all aspects of corporate work in due course
  • Help establish the new practice, setting up systems and in time recruiting and managing a small team
  • To ensure the profitability of the practice
  •  Undertake all the usual functions of an IP managing cases, staff and improving profitability 
  • Any work generated will also be rewarded, although this is not a key requirement
Experience and Skills 
  • JIEB qualified
  • Corporate Insolvency background
  • Minimum of 7 years insolvency experience
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Understanding of and manages risk within potential and current cases
  • Highly professional and respected
  • Confident enough to manage a new office
  • CPD up to date

Salary

A salary package c£75,000 plus bonus/profit share/incentive is negotiable for this role subject to experience and qualifications.   The role would ideally suit a first time appointment taker or possibly an established IP.
