Insolvency Administrator or Senior Insolvency Administrator 

Leicester £20-30k 

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced senior corporate insolvency administrator to join their rapidly growing Leicester office.

Our client is one of the UK's leading corporate insolvency & business recovery firms with offices across the UK. They are continuing to grow and develop services to mainly SME companies .

The Role

To undertake corporate and personal casework as required either individually or as part of a team. To provide guidance and support to less experienced members of the team and management as required.

This role will be part of a wider team dealing with client work. The post-holder will support Partners and managers as well as undertaking their own casework and caseload. Additionally, the post holder will be expected to provide guidance and support to more junior members of the team.

Mains tasks to include

  • Assisting with both Personal and Corporate Insolvency Cases.
  • Liaising with agents and solicitors associated with the cases.
  • Preparation of statutory paperwork and other legal documents.
  •  Aiding in the preparation of documents for banks and other financial institutions.
  •  Assisting with the disposal of assets, collection of debts and the distribution of funds.
  • Drafting correspondence to creditors and other interested parties on request.
  • Negotiating with both creditor and debtors.
  • Undertaking investigations into assets as required.
  • General support to Partner leading team or case as required.
  • Provide guidance and support less experienced team members.
  • Delegate work to trainees and juniors as required.

Performance Indicators

  • Work completed to required standards in agreed timescales
  • Documents prepared correctly and in line with Firm standard documentation
  • Cases and files compliant with requirements of the recognised professional bodies of the appropriate Insolvency Practitioners

Experience and Skills

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Working towards or completed CPI
  • Ability to work at all levels
  • Ability to adapt to difficult situations
  • 4 years + experience of working in Insolvency
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively without close supervision
  • Ability to take instruction/feedback and act swiftly on said instruction/feedback.
  • Accurate data-entry skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel

Salary

An excellent salary package of £20-30k is being offered by the client which is subject to experience and skills that the candidate is able to bring to the role.
